We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Jennifer Farmer has joined Copper Island Academy as School Principal. Jennifer started on January 4, 2023.
Jennifer has a long history in education, most recently working as the Early Literacy Coach at the Bay-Arenac ISD in Bay City, MI. Prior to that, she was an Elementary Title 1 teacher at Tawas City, and at the Pinconning school districts.
Jennifer earned a BS Arts & English degree from the University of Michigan, followed by a Certification, Elementary Education from St. Andrews Presbyterian College. In 2011, she earned a Master of Education degree from Union University, and she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership at Eastern Michigan University.
Jennifer has been working with us for two weeks now, and we are very grateful for her wealth of knowledge and commitment to innovation and growth.
